Based on Mark Millar's comic book series and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake, Stardust), Kick Ass is the story of nerdy, unpopular highschooler Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who answers a fundamental question we've all asked: What if I decided to become a real-life superhero.
Not long after his debut as masked crimefighter Kick Ass, others take up the calling too. There's Big Daddy (Nicholas Cage) and his obscenity spouting 11-year-old daughter Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) and Red Mist, played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, best known as Superbad's McLovin'.
